The Wildflowers of Palestine - Hairy Pink Flax
Hairy Pink Flax, Linum pubescens (20 (40)cm, Hairy Pink Flax is an annual flax species with numerous bright rose flowers in summer. It is native from coastal arid lands in the Eastern Mediterranean. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. Sow in mid spring under glass at a minimum of some 5°C in full sun and transplant to the final spot in the garden after the last freezing nights towards mid to end of spring.
